Before anything else, the one fact that decides how the rest of this page reads: Car Hire Alanya does not rent cars. This website is a comparison front end for independent rental suppliers working in and around Alanya, and when a visitor picks a car the rental agreement that follows is signed between that visitor and the supplier, never with us. We earn a referral commission when a booking completes, the supplier keeps the car, the keys and the counter, and the supplier's own rental contract is the document that governs the hire from the moment it starts until the car comes back.

Who you are dealing with

Car Hire Alanya publishes carhirealanya.com as an affiliate comparison site for the Alanya coast. We have no depot, no shuttle and no staff waiting at any terminal, and there is no telephone number for this site. Everything reaches us by email at [email protected], and that inbox is the whole of our support department. If a page, an advertisement or a message anywhere offers you a phone line for this brand, it did not come from us.

How a booking actually travels

A search on this site asks our booking technology partner what is on the board for the dates entered, and the cars that come back are real listings from suppliers serving Alanya. Clicking through to book hands the visitor and the chosen listing over to that partner's checkout, where the supplier's own terms, driver conditions and payment rules are presented. Nothing on this page replaces them. The confirmation the supplier or the booking partner sends afterwards, naming the vehicle class, the pickup point and the price, is the binding record of what was reserved. If that confirmation and a page on this site disagree, the confirmation wins.

Prices, currency and what is not in them

Rates are shown in euro so that cars from different suppliers can be compared on one screen, and they come from a live feed rather than from a price list we maintain. They move. A daily rate on this coast reacts to the season, to how far ahead the dates sit and to how much stock is left on the board that morning, and a figure a visitor saw in the morning may not be the figure the checkout quotes in the evening. We do not guarantee any price, we do not hold a quote open and we cannot reinstate a rate that has already changed.

What a visitor spends on the ground in Turkey is outside every number on this site. Fuel is paid in Turkish lira at the pump, and so are the car parks in the centre, the HGS toll tags on the long stretches of the D400 and any traffic fine. Those costs belong to the hire, not to the comparison, and they are settled with the supplier or the authority concerned.

Availability, and why a listing can vanish

The board for Alanya is large and it turns over fast. A visitor sees a first page of roughly a hundred cars drawn from a far deeper pool, and the ordering, the filters and the photographs all come from the supplier side. A specific car shown here can be reserved by somebody else while a visitor is still reading about it, and a model that appeared this morning may be off the board by the afternoon. We work to keep what we publish accurate, but we do not warrant that any individual vehicle, transmission type or feature will still be available at the moment of booking, and a mismatch between a listing here and the supplier's own checkout is resolved in favour of the checkout.

Licences, age and documents

Driving conditions are set by the supplier and by Turkey law, not by us. Whether a national licence is accepted on its own or has to be carried together with an International Driving Permit depends on where that licence was issued, and the supplier states its own requirement before a booking is confirmed. The same is true of the minimum driver age, any surcharge for younger drivers, how long a licence must have been held, and whether a named additional driver has to be registered on the agreement. If those conditions are not met at the counter, the supplier can decline the handover, and that decision sits between the renter and the supplier.

Deposits, cover and damage

Every figure attached to a deposit, an excess or a cover product belongs to the supplier's agreement and is shown during booking rather than here. We never print a deposit amount on a car card. Where a listing is flagged as having no deposit, that reflects what the supplier was offering when the feed was read, and the supplier confirms what it actually holds, if anything, at the counter. We do not sell insurance, we do not underwrite it, we are not party to any claim and we cannot tell a visitor in advance how a particular claim will be decided. Photograph the car at handover and at return and keep the supplier's own condition sheet; that record, not this page, is what settles a damage argument.

Changes, cancellations and money

No payment passes through Car Hire Alanya. We take no card details, hold no funds and issue no refunds, so a change, a cancellation or a refund request has to go to the supplier or the booking partner named on the confirmation, through the channel that confirmation gives. Cancellation windows and administrative charges differ from one supplier to the next, and both appear at checkout before any money moves. We will gladly help a visitor find the right contact if the confirmation is unclear, and that is the limit of what we can do.

What we are responsible for

What we owe a visitor is a comparison service run with reasonable care: supplier data presented honestly, a site that stays up, and an accurate account of where the booking route leads. What we do not answer for is the state of a vehicle, the conduct of a supplier, for a delayed or refused handover, for a breakdown on a mountain road behind Alanya, for anything a supplier decides about a deposit or a claim, or for losses caused by events outside our reasonable control. No wording on this page can shed a liability the law refuses to let us shed, and none of it touches the consumer rights a visitor already holds where they live.

Affiliate disclosure

A completed booking that began here earns us a commission, paid by the supplier or the booking partner. That commission is paid out of their side of the transaction and does not add anything to what the renter pays, and it does not buy a supplier a better position on the page.

Acceptable use of the site

The site is here to be searched, read and compared, by travellers and by businesses booking travel. It is not here to be harvested. Automated scraping of listings or prices, any attempt to overload or probe the service, and submitting invented booking details all fall outside acceptable use, and access can be blocked where that happens. The written text, the page layout and the code of this site belong to Car Hire Alanya or are licensed to us; vehicle photography and supplier branding belong to their owners and appear here under the terms of our partner arrangement.

Governing law and revisions

Anything concerning this website is decided under the law of the country where Car Hire Alanya is established, and that choice cannot strip away the mandatory consumer protections a visitor already enjoys at home. The hire contract is a separate instrument and follows whichever law its supplier names. We revise this page when the service, its partners or the law move, and the version published here on the day a visitor uses the site is the version that applies to them. We keep no archive of superseded versions, so the date printed above is the entire change log.
